1989
Dr. Asis K. Banerjie, founded Inventa Technologies Private Limited in Madras (now Chennai, India).
1992
Inventa establishes its own facility at Ambattur Industrial Estate. Inventa becomes a full service company with an engineering design center and machine manufacturing facility.
1993
Inventa Technologies was the first company in India to introduce "Made in India" Twin Screw Extruders. We were the first company to set-up lab facilities for our clients in India, the first company to do devolitalization of PES for Gharda Chemicals in India, and the first company to a complete turn-key project for recycling of co-mingled multi-layer metalized packaging films. Inventa has worked with many first-time polymer compounders in India. Inventa takes pride in successfully developing many complex polymer compounding projects for clients in India. Inventa offers training to technologists, engineers, and scientists, in the field of polymer compounding and machinery. More than 50% of the polymer compounding machinery in the organized sector has been installed by Inventa and more than 75% of India's premier compounding laboratories are also successful projects of Inventa.

1993-2001
Inventa represented the business interests of a number of leading German machinery manufacturers (such as Berstorff GmbH in Hanover, CFScheer GmbH in Stuttgart, and Brabender Technologies KG in Duisberg). Berstorff GmbH formed a joint venture with Inventa as an equity partner. These agreements were subsequently terminated when Dr. Banerjie relocated back to the U.S.A. and decided that Inventa would no longer represent these companies as business commitments could not be maintained. As a result of our open business policy, Inventa and Dr. Banerjie maintain a very healthy relationship with all of its alliance partners to this day.
2007
Inventa Technologies has made significant progress while under the management of our CEO, Mr. K. Viswanathan. The company is now ready for its next phase of growth. While Dr. Banerjie (CMD of the company) continues to provide direction and leadership to Inventa.
